Macro SpindleOrient

Where is the setting for the orientated spindle angle/position?

I have a fine boring bar, that when toolchanged in, is orientated incorrectly even though it is modelled correctly (with the boring tip at 6 o'clock looking down on the spindle)

When I MDI the M19 (Spindle Orientation Command), it orientates the tip to approx. 4 o'clock looking down from the spindle.

Re: Macro SpindleOrient

A few ways of doing this.

The easiest would be to orient your Spindle Component around Z by 60 degrees.  So each time you use M19 it orientates to the 4 o'clock position. ( dont forget to save your mch if you do this )

Another way is to add the SpindleOrient macro to M19 with an Override Value of 60, this will give the same result. ( dont forget to save your ctl if you do this )
