Menu... Prefixing on Startup

Good Day Gents,
I,m having a rather strange occurance when I start up VC7.0.3.
All the Toolbar Icons are prefixing with 'menu...' , the explorer tree with 'pro...'
It's almost as if I'm seeing the debug widgets.
Tried reloading the software but no go
Any Ideas what is going on?
W7 64bit

Re: Menu... Prefixing on Startup

Hi Jon,

Make sure the correct language is selected in vericut.bat:
if "%CGTECH_LOCALE%" == "" set CGTECH_LOCALE=english
Then see for the corresponding language that the VcRes.local file exists, for "english" it should be in the folder:
C:\cgtech703\classes\english\

Re: Menu... Prefixing on Startup

Thanks for the reply Mustapha,
Everything is as so in the vericut.bat file etc.
Vericut opens fine from a fresh start i.e after a reboot,
yet returns the additional 'rogue' text on start up after the first closing of vericut??

Re: Menu... Prefixing on Startup

That is strange. Exit VERICUT, Reset your preferences (Start > All Programs > CGTech VERICUT 7.0.3 > Utilities > Reset Preferences)*, start VERICUT, it will start as if you just installed it.
Then close and reopen VERICUT to see if it still return the "native" menu names...

*Note that you will loose all your previous settings, like window sizing, icons arrangements etc..., you will have to redo those settings...

Re: Menu... Prefixing on Startup

Finally, got this sorted.
It seems that an anti-virus upgrade was for whatever reason
playing games with vericut,re-installed the a-v and everything is now fine,
Thanks for your help, very much appreciated.
