process speed

Hello All -
I am just wondering how many of you are using OPTIPATH, and what system you are using it on.
I have some pretty good size files and the processing speed seems unbearably slow.

Thanks

Re: process speed

We use it on DELL Precision T7400 WinXP 32-bit 4GB RAM
Processing speed is just a little slower than a normal simulation. I find it very acceptable. smile
I think the speed depends a lot on your cutting tolerance. We set it normally to 0.2 mm (Our parts are quit big 700 to 1700 mm) so setting it smaller is useless because the system will run out of memory.
