Problem with ATI X300 video card

ATI uses proprietary OpenGL drivers that don’t perform well with VERICUT.

Workaround:

Lowering the hardware acceleration allows VERICUT to work with OpenGL. In the graphic card settings, lower the Hardware acceleration below the mid point.

Re: Problem with ATI X300 video card

You say that ATI's drivers don't work well...do you have a known good brand and model that does work well?

Re: Problem with ATI X300 video card

We have seen some problems with the low-end ATI cards, the X300 mostly. Higher end card should perform correctly.

We have been successful with the Nvidia cards. The Quadro series are especially performant in a CAD/CAM environment.
