G49 Causes Motion

I'm fairly new to Vericut. I have a template from CGTech for an OKK HM-X8000 (5-axis head-table). In Vericut, G49 causes motion, this is not the behavior of the machine. I could contact CGTech and ask them to update the template, but I would like to know how to do small updates like this myself.

I followed the steps in this post which did not fix the issue:
forum.cgtech.com/viewtopic.php?id=1091

Two questions:
1. Is there extra steps to fix this nowadays? (above post is from 2008)
2. Is this a simple fix or should I send this to CGTech?

I'm running Vericut 9.3.2. Please let me know if more info is needed, being new I don't know what info is needed and I didn't want to clutter the post with useless info. Any help is appreciated.

Re: G49 Causes Motion

In Control > G-code Processing, locate G49 (probably in Word/Adress > States
doubleclick macro TurnOnOffGageOffset and delete the Override Text IMMEDIATE
Press Modify and now G49 will cancel length offset without motion.
