I have very little experience with Vericut. I'm on V9.1.1
I've gone thru the tutorial, looked at help and did some searching here an have not found an answer. This seems like simple thing so I'm probably just missing it.
Your typical shell mill contains a holder, the insert body and the inserts. If I create an assembly and try to import it into a tool library I can only get the insert body and inserts to create a proper profile. If I select the tool holder it only does a profile of the holder and nothing else. I've messed with this for a while trying different things to no avail.
So in the case where you have three or more bodies how should I identify them in order to get a proper representation in Vericut? The toolbody and insert revolve I downloaded and the holder I created. I then made the assembly and imported it into Vericut. I can't seem to get a single profile of all three. I can get a profile of the Body and the insert but not of the assembly.
Is it standard practice to combine the body and the holder? Do I define the holder as something else like a shank?
Any help appreciated
Thank you,

I think I figured this out. I was either doing something incorrectly or screwing something else up.
If I drop the holder in, drop the tool body with insert body and call the three parts "Holder", "Holder" and "Cutter". Put them in the proper order and THEN do the profiles it seems to work.
