Ok so what is the proper technique to go from 8.2.2 to 9.0.1?
My IT guy can't get it to work and seems to be hitting a wall!
Can someone walk him thru it???

1. Remove the old license server entirely
2. May be reboot the system
3. Install the new license server
4. apply the license according to the VERICUT license server documentation shipping with the installation

Some IT do not realize the license file must remain 100% Ascii file. How it is copied in email, opened/resaved maters. We do not open and re-save the license file.
Also MUST be logged in with admin when updating the license file. If not the license may update in memory, but the file on disc is not over-written. Next restart you are back to an old license. Logged in with admin, not run as admin.
It has been a few years since I did it myself, but I remember the drag-n-drop license file update is not dragging and dropping the file, but opening the file in ascii editor, copying it and then pasting it on the drop screen. It may have changed since I did it.
