Export cut stock for CAD

Hello everbody,

Anyone knows if its possible export the cut stock file, after the simulation ends, to a Cad file (like stl or step).

I have some collisions in a specific simulation, and Fixture engineer are facing some troubles to rework the clamping fix because I just send pictures and texts to then. If I sent them the CAD model of the clamping fix after de colision, they could make their study faster and accurately.

Exporting STL is always possible.
Depending on your VERICUT release, you may just have to export through the context menu of the cut stock model from the project tree.

Thaks a lot, I didn't try the save cut stock button on File menu. The cgtech people helped me to find this function.

STEP is supported if you have the Model Export License.

STL export is included in the Verification package. The quality of your STL will depend on your cutting tolerance. Polyfix can improve the file a bit if it's not too bad.

Curious, I make rough sketches for the floor and I tried several years back to use the cut-stock I saved out but it didn't work very good back then, I'll have to try again when I get Vericut 9.0 installed.
