colors

I would like to see more color options.  I like to make things different colors to distinguish between everything.

Just a petty little suggestion.

Thanks

Joey

Re: colors

We agree, but the problem is we need more than just more colors.  Being able to distinquish more than 16 colors easily gets hard based on screen, eyesight, age and colorblindness.  The "lighting" orientation also washes out a color. We find that many people have problems distinquishing unique colors  when we use more than 8-12.

More colors defined with shading and texture options are needed to help us distinquish the cuts of each tool when 8-50 tools run on a part.   Example, a  a checkerboard, krinkle or bark texture.  Similar colors can easily be distinquished with wildly varying textures.   Even a handful of textures can increase the useable combinations dramatically.

Re: colors

In the next release (V60) a maximum of 128 colors will be allowed for a session.
