Open Mind users

Is there any users out there who use open mind? I would be grateful if you would give me any opinions on the open mind to Vericut interface, I have heard claims that Vericut is not necessary when using this CAM package as the toolpaths can be fully simulated with it. As a Catia and Vericut user for the last  10 years I am sceptical and any views would be appreciated,

We are using Hypermill with Veiricut interface at work.  Vericut emulates CNC control logic,  the OM internal simulation is based on pof(apt) files,  I think you already know the difference.
