How can we make a Heid control to read a Q parameter after TOOL CALL?

Folks,

Let me share a difficulty we bumped into:

Heidenhain controls allow you to pass the tool number after the tool call as a parameter.

Instead of "TOOL CALL 123 Z S1000" we want to use "TOOL CALL Q99 Z S1000"

Whenever we use a Q parameter instead of an integer VERICUT returns a message that the tool Qxx wasn´t found in the tool library.

We have some OEM cycles that use a Q parameter instead of an integer after the TOOL CALL text.

We tested this in the latest Heidenhain CTL shipped with 7.3.4 and it failed to work as well. How can we make it support this?

Any ideas?

Tks,

Local office sorted it out. Macros "ToolCode" and "ToolChangeIfDiffMachineSubroutine" got it done.

Tks,
