Can a Csys be assigned to a work offset (G54, G55....)

I have several Work offsets in the same program.

When G59 gets read... I want a Csys that I created to be for that origin and so on...

I assume that you want to use for example two or three different G59's ?

No. I have a program that has many or maybe as much as 2 work offsets. So would like to assign each Csys I create a G54 and so on, value.

When you create a CSYS you don't actually assign it to a work offset.

Thats done under G-Code Offsets, with the From and To locations, are you familiar with these ?

Yes. I have done that. I have 2 Csys #1 is where I want my G54 to be and the next Csys#1 to be my next G55 ect work offset.
But when the program runs it wants to run all positions G54-59 at the G54 location.

Re: Can a Csys be assigned to a work offset (G54, G55....)

To make things easier I would rename one csys G54 and the other G55.

Then make sure you have 2 G-Code Offsets with the To locations set to a CSYS called G54 and G55.

If this doesn't solve your problem I suggest giving your local CGTech Tech Support guy a call, he will be able to look at your files and see whats going on ( or not ).
