Tool and holder not showing after M06

Hi Guys,

I have a Mori DMG NMV3000DCG set up on Vericut. When I run the simulation it goes to tool change and runs through the sequence but doesn't appear to pick up the tool. I have tried changing the gage point etc. but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Many thanks,
Dave.

Re: Tool and holder not showing after M06

Is the mounting point set ok? It could be that the tool is mounted somewhere inside a machine component.
Also check the gage point of the tool (tool manager). These point determine where the tool is glued to the machine.

In the G-code processing > tool change macro is there a ToolChange command?
or if this is done by a subroutine, does this contain a command that initiates the ToolChange macro?

Re: Tool and holder not showing after M06

Checked mounting and gage points but still no luck. I think as you suggested it may be down to the tool change macro as I seem to recall the installation engineer mentioning something about the way the control does M6 is different due to our 160 tool rack Mag. I'll try Vericut support to see what they suggest. Thanks for your help.
