This is an idea I'd like to see implemented in the product: A visual poka-yoke in the creation on control points and cutter compensation definitions in VERICUT ToolMan:
A short video is available here: Video
Both turning and milling are shown in the video
The whole point is that if CGTech adds this to the tool manager and allow these TAGs to be seen with the proper size based on the tool radius, in the Workpiece or Machine View, then I think it will be a lot harder for someone to make a mistake or have wrong simulation because a wrong tool / corner radius defined in Tool Manager.
It's not always obvious to notice that you entered an 1.2 mm corner radius instead of 0.8 mm in a turning insert... Especially if you are copying a tool and changing only the insert...

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your help!
Actually this one has been filled already under SCR #11214
But many thanks for your support on this! Perhaps if more people chime in PM can raise the priority of this...
I myself have a small dislike for the way control points are shown today because if you have more than one, it's not always obvious to determine which one is the one you are editing or seeing because of the little differentiation in the colors...
Cheers,

I'll leave the latest one as the hyperlink to your video is dead in SCR #11214. I'll add a reference to #11214 just for information.
