Using Standard VERICUT with Pro/Engineer

As many of you probably know, a special "embedded" version of VERICUT is shipped with Pro/Engineer. This version provides essentially equivalent features of the old NC Check product from Pro/E. It is included with all Pro/E machining applications, and can be run from inside Pro/E. It is licensed by the Pro/E machining application.

With VERICUT 5.4.4, it is now possible to run in this same "embedded" license mode using the standard VERICUT distributed by CGTech.  This should help those Pro/E-VERICUT installations where you want to use both the "embedded" mode and also have some standard VERICUT licenses. They can both run from the same software now.
