Syntax checking interactivly...

For reasons beyond my control... We have posted output that can't run on our control (840d). The output is adding an additional safe start ":" after the Nxxxxx. Must currently hand edit. I would like the sim to stop if it encounters the bad syntax.

Output:

:949X0Y0F600.
N1068:997G94.... We delete this line. As it won't work on the gantry.

Yes, I created a User Defined Syntax Error as:
Condition : AND N
It works IF the user remembers to use Syntax Check first. I would like the Vericut simulation to stop at each encounter.

Thoughts?

Re: Syntax checking interactivly...

Maybe you can use the conditional in the control and send an error whenever an "N" + ":" is encountered?
