Vericut and cutter comp

Got this question from a colleague:

"Is it possible to set up Vericut to generate an error message if wear comp is activated on an arc move or if it is activated with no lead-in?  About once a week I get the cutter comp alarm at the machine when I leave the comp set to 'wear' with lead-in lead-out turned off.  It would be great to catch these at the computer."

Is it?

Thanks,

Daniel

Re: Vericut and cutter comp

The arc one should be possible.  You can add a condition on the activation code to check to see if the circle code is present.  If it is give an error.  I took a different approach and checked for these conditions in the post processor.  We use NX and it was quite easy to check for these conditions.
