V7.1.5 installation on Win7 64bit

Just installed Vericut 7.1.5 on a new DELL precision T5500 Windows 7 64 bit machine.
Choose 64bit version in installation menu.
Have a license server running (winXP 32bit)

After starting vericut I get the error:
"License server found, but invalid version number. see the install Guide for more help"
When I use WlmAdmin utility I can see the license server and all it's licenses.

We have more (identical) clients running 7.1.5 without any problem.

I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall but problem remains

Any ideas???

Running here without problem.

Is the Windows firewall blocking the connection?

Re: V7.1.5 installation on Win7 64bit

Looks like firewall is allowing connection.
Tried to attach the installation log, but the forum doesn't allow me to upload.

The summary from the install log indicates:

Summary
-------

Installation: Successful.

4423 Successes
0 Warnings
0 NonFatalErrors
0 FatalErrors

Re: V7.1.5 installation on Win7 64bit

Is IPv6 enabled?

What does the license admin tool show, when run on the client?

Is the license server updated to use the license server version of v7.1?

Re: V7.1.5 installation on Win7 64bit

Don't understand what you mean with IPv6?

License admin tool detects license server and show all licenses.

License server is up to date v7.1

I also installed version 7.1.1 > same error
I've looked in the registry for entries on vericut/cgtech but found nothing interesting.
:cry:

Re: V7.1.5 installation on Win7 64bit

Found it!
For some reason there was a mix up in the registry on the regional settings. :?
The version number that is broadcasted from the license server got messed up by Vericut due to this flaw.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International]
"Locale"="00000413"
"LocaleName"="en-US" << This setting should be "nl-NL"
"sCountry"="Netherlands"
"sCurrency"="€"
"sDate"="-"
"sDecimal"=","

After changing this Vericut launches OK
