License Usage Logging

Hello,

I've recently installed a license server and need to enable License Usage Logging. So, far I have found lots of information about the LSERVOPTS system environment variable but nothing about the registry or how to make changes stick.

I've added the -l option in '\windows\license\setsysenv.reg' and this seems to work.

-------------
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment]
"LSERVOPTS"="-s \"C:\\Program Files\\cgtech\\7.1.5\\windows\\license\\cgtech.lf\" -l \"C:\\Program Files\\cgtech\\7.1.5\\windows\\license\\lserv.log\""
-------------

However, what I'm having trouble with is, gaining the confidence that the change I've made in 'setsysenv.reg' is permanent because I have seen my change disappear after a reinstall. Also, is it the correct place to make the change.

Any advice gratefully received.

Regards
Paul Clark
