Are users on this forum purchasing individual Post Processors for their Nc Code/Machines or are Post Processor Builders being used? The reason I ask this question is that the company I work for is considering buying a Post Processor Builder ,not sure which one is the best choice ,would be interested to know which is the most widely used, thank you :?

Using NX (aka Unigraphics) here, which ships with a post builder.
I have created and maintained the posts myself during the years, but due to recent enhancements and the lack of time to visit a training, we are now buying the next generation machine kits from a reseller.

Thanks stpendl, I should have mentioned that we are using Catia V5 R20 from which we create Aptsource files , the posts we have (which have been written for us-3axis ,4 axis & 5 axis) post from the aptsource file, we then verify in Vericut , thanks

I would suggest looking into Icam's CAMPOST. This is an excelent (independent) postbuilder, also has a direct Catia interface.
We use NX and MAX-PAC for programming, so an independent postbuilder has the advantage for us.
