How to set up G43 tool length compensation.

Hi.

Does anyone know if there is a tutorial somewhere on how to set up Vericut to simulate G43 length compensation correctly or maybe someone has some tips.
Basicaly we had a near miss on the machine where a G43 was missed out of the program so the length comp wasn't applied to the first Z move.
The prog ran fine in Vericut and I have just tried it with G43, without G43, with the H code, without the H but there is no difference in how Vericut simulates.

We're on V6.1

Any help would be great.

Re: How to set up G43 tool length compensation.

My first guess is the Programming method:

In you Project Tree, Select the Setup branch, right-click
G-Code Settings...
Programming Method = Tool Length Compensation
OK

If it is set to Tool Tip, it will automatically apply the tool gage Offset value regardless if G43 is active. With the setting to Tool Length Compensation, it will only apply it when the G43 and the H are called.
