The installer program used with VERICUT (since around about VERICUT 5.4) is unable to install from files located at a UNC file path.
The symptom of the failure is only a few files are installed in the target installation location. The installer program does not report an error.
A careful review of the install log files shows the problem via an obscure "FileNotFoundException" message repeated multiple times, once for each file not found.
Unfortunately no fix for this problem currently exists. The only recourse is to locate the installer files in a folder whose path can be expressed in the standard Windows syntax of Drive:\folder_name\folder_name\(and so on...) .

We reconfigured VERICUT's installer so it can now be installed via a UNC path, in VERICUT 7.1.4.
