Problem:
Running the CATV5 interface the customer gets the error:
"The interface to Vericut requires a CATV5 (or later version) process running. Do you wish to start?
If CATIA is running and if you answers: Yes (to start), nothing happens.
Possible reason:
Many CATIA site administrators use the old IBM method of installing once then copying the installation to other platforms. This fails in the windows environment since the registry entries are only created during an installation. This situation can cause the error.
We discovered a utility program that fixes the registry entries. Run the following line (either from a command shell or the Run dialogue:
PROGRAM FILES\DASSAULT SYSTEMS\B17\INTEL_A\CODE\BIN\CNEXT.EXE /REGSERVER
The "B17" part depends on your CATIA version (B17=CATIA R17).

We have found a spelling mistake with the following command:
PROGRAM FILES\DASSAULT SYSTEMS\B17\INTEL_A\CODE\BIN\CNEXT.EXE /REGSERVER
Should read:
PROGRAM FILES\DASSAULT SYSTEMES\B17\INTEL_A\CODE\BIN\CNEXT.EXE /REGSERVER
Again the "B17" part depends on your CATIA version (B17=CATIA R17)
Apologies if this caused any confusion.

Note the path has changed when you are using Windows 7, the install of R21 on my system is as below:
C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B21\win_b64\code\bin
