Is there any way i can set up vericut to detect the oversize hole before tap???
Thanks in advance

In X-Caliper:
Feature/history will identify the hole as TAPPED HOLE. If the hole was drilled bigger that tap, the hole will simply be a cylinder.
If you analyze with Air Distance, the distance will be the drilled diameter. You can then compare with the Major Diameter of the Tap tool and decide if is was the correct diameter.
With AUTODIFF:
Most CAD models will only have the inside nominal hole and not the threads of a tapped hole. Therefore, if you do an AUTODIFF, you will see the difference if the hole is drilled too large or too small.

Thanks for the reply.
But i would like to set up the vericut to give me the error when i run the nc simulation not the auto-diff.
I know, it could be hard to tell because there is no stock to detect but i wonder if there any way to make it work without using the auto-diff
Thank you

I don't see any way to do it cleanly. The AUTODIFF Constant Gouge Check mode would give you an error during the simulation.
another way (not a clean way) would be to MDI the command to turn off the spindle for the tap tool. If you don't get an error, it means that the hole was too big.
