Switching between Stock and Fixture

Good morning all,

I need to check several tombstone jobs against each other to see which combinations can be run on the same tombstone (4-sided) without interference.  I import STLs from ProE and assemble each subplate to one side of the tombstone and then run the G-code of program for the model defined as Stock; this means that there are 3 Fixture components assembled and one Stock component.

Since I need to check each permutation, is there a way to re-define the Fixture components to Stock components in the Component Tree without deleting the component and then re-assembling it as a component of a different type?  I would like to just change one of Fixture components to Stock and then change the 'old' Stock component to Fixture and then run the next program to check its interference.   I've tried changing the component attributes, but it doesn't appear to be having an effect - perhaps I am doing something wrong?

Re: Switching between Stock and Fixture

In the component tree you can grab any of the models then 'drag n drop' it to anywhere else in the tree.   Stock models become fixtures, fixture models can become stock etc.

Hope this helps.
