Hello!
I try to use SpecialRotoTransComp macro, I can translate and rotate selected component, but I cannot understand a law of translations and rotations. Have you any examples or explanations? :?

these macros were created for a very specific customer project.
What are you trying to achieve? maybe we can look at a more mainstream solution.

Thank you for answer!
I want to simulate very complex tool change mechanism, a lot of joined parts. I want to calculate position for each part with linked DLL and step-by-step move and rotated each part.

oh!
We have done some simulation of machines with linkages, but it requires a lot of configuration. Each pivot must be configured as a rotary axis. You must calculate the the angle of each pivots when you move one pivot. A lot of work but it is feasible. What machine is it? Is it a Chiron? I know some Chiron machines have this type of tool changer.

I see - you are professional... Of course, a reason - my fine handmaiden picture. Yes, this is Chiron FZ15, with "basket" tool changer (more complex version for long profile milling - MPS). I think about few rotary and linear axises, but for me more easy just translate and rotate each part for each small drive motion inside my own DLL. For small step I hope to get simulation motion.
But - thank you again!

Yes, I spend one day and now I have a working model for tool changer. For this model I need ONE linear axis and TWO rotary axis, thats all. And from my dll I calculate one linear motion and one rotary.
And short video movie you can see http://www.postprocessor.ru/video/Chiro … hanger.wmv here.
I don't use SpecialRotoTrans Macro.
And - one question. If I want to rebuild my DLL I must close current Vericut session, rebuild and restart VERICUT. HOW I CAN UNLOAD SHARED DLL WITHOUT EXIT VERICUT?
Thank you!

Now I can show for you final VERICUT project with CHIRON FZ-15 MPS. We use basket tool changer, GEOAX, FRAMES and more..
You can see short video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zAePL-wt4g
It was very interesting project!
