Hello all,
When I save Cut_Stock_STL for next set up the file size is so huge for the big part, I there a way to reduce the cut stock size?
Thanks

Yes, do not select Save with Features.
This will create a dump solid, without machining information.

The Cutting Tolerance has a big effect on th .vct file size also. When making the .vct for stock in followup sessions, you may not need a tight cutting tolerance. .06" or 1.5mm or larger could be used if it fits your needs. In Vericut 7.0 this setting is in File, Properties then select the Tolerance tab.

More, examples.
On a large part we have. .01", .025mm Cutting Tolerance. .vct saved with features, 21.3meg file, without features 19.4 meg.
.06", 1.5mm cutting tolerance, .vct with saved features 2.7 meg, without saved feature .9meg.
Loading time for the .vct is also significantly faster with the smaller file sizes.
Use the largest cutting tolerance you can that still fits your needs.
