Negative Optimization with OptiPath

Can anyone tell me how it's possible that when I run Optipath, with a "Learned library", I sometimes get a negative optimization.
I experimented with several options like number of teeth, axial depth, radial width etc...

P.S. I'm looking per tool, the overall optimization is positive.

Re: Negative Optimization with OptiPath

I have seen this happen only a couple of times. The most common cause is having Learn Mode Options that limit optimized feed rates to be lower than what was originally programmed. If you feel you have done everything correctly and believe the Learn Mode Options are correct for your appplication, then feel free to send your files to Technical Support (support@cgtech.com) with a description of what is wrong and we will have a look for you.  --Gene
