Hey folks.
I just got a 30 day trial of v7.0 with all the bells and whistles. Everything seems pretty cool, with the exception of exporting models. I have been trying to export a model of my cut stock for the QC guys so that they can program their CMMs to check some parts between ops. The file types they need are either a .igs or .stp. I did a test run on a sample project that came with Vericut, and got it exported as an .igs ok. However, Im trying to do the same thing with a somewhat more complicated model(lots of 3D milling, etc.) and it doesnt seem to want to export the model. I have tried doing sections seperatly, doing the whole thing at once, and other random stuff that seems like a good idea at the time. when set for .igs, everything freezes up about a third of the way through the export process (part 1 of 5, i believe) and when i try .stp, i get an error saying "error loading ACIS libraries." i don't know what that means, but if someone could help me out, i would really appreciate it.

Hi Mike,
I forwarded your post to Technical Support to follow up.
in the Meantime:
What version of VERICUT?
What version of ACIS was installed?
Did you install the Microsoft redistribution C++ run time library; the vcredist_x86.exe for 32-bit or vcredist_x64.exe for 64-bit?

Hey Serge.
Im running version 7.0.1, and I downloaded the CAD model interface from the vericut site. That seems to have fixed the ACIS error...my logger says the ACIS libraries were loaded successfully. as for the vcredist_x86.exe, where would I find that, where would I install it? I know i saw that file name somewhere, but for the life of me I can't remember where.
I talked with Tech Support, and they told me to download the CAD interface, which I did.
The next thing I'm going to try is to export a piece of the part, rather than the whole thing, as it is a pretty complicated model.
Thanks for your help Serge, as always!

It is included on the Windows installation CD of VERICUT.
