Multiple tool libraries

It would be helpful to be able to use multiple tool libraries in one setup.
We now have approx. 1500 milling tools and 400 turning tools in our main library witch becomes quite large and overview gets worse.
It would be nice if this could be spilt up into several library files that you can refer to in your simulation.
Vericut could give an error if a tool number is found in more than one library file.
just a thought. :?

Anyone else seeing the benefit?

Re: Multiple tool libraries

Hello Patrick,

I know it is not what you are requesting, but instead of loading the full tool library and the 1500 tools, you can create a job specific tool library that would reference the tools you need from the Master tool library. You can quickly find a tool using the search panel and reference only the tools you need from the master.

Re: Multiple tool libraries

Couldnt you just start a new job specific tool library and reference it to you master tool library? Then assign it by description?
