VERICUT 7.0 Crash/ Freezing

My company has just received the newest version of VERICUT, V7.0. It has been working well until lately, when I have been running part simulations the program has been freezing on me in which I have to start over from the beginning (where it was last saved from) it seems to be worse when I use the MDI part of the program. Has anyone else run into situations close to this and found a solution to this problem?

Please contact Tech Support.

Since you mention that VERICUT worked correctly. Something might have changes either on your system or in your file. In either case, Tech Support can help you find what is the cause.

Re: VERICUT 7.0 Crash/ Freezing

If I have a long string of code in my MDI window, will that cause the program to freeze if there is an overload of information? Because i just ran the same program minus the MDI (aside from using it for rotational values that are single line) and it did not freeze.

Just to confirm:

When VERICUT hangs, is it when you play the project NC Program or when you play all the codes in the MDI window?

Re: VERICUT 7.0 Crash/ Freezing

I have tried to reproduce with 2-3 sample files. I had very long strings in MDI, played the NC program, played the MDI codes, and could not reproduce it.

I also tried with opening a full NC program in the MDI window and playing it with no crash.

It you can repeat the same steps to make it crash, take notes of your settings it might help us.
