Mastercam and cutter comp

Hello,

i try to use the Mastercam Interface and have a problem with cutter comp.
When i have a operation in Mastercam with cutter comp turned on and output the nci to simulate, vericut takes too much material from my stock.
It is the radius size from the programmed tool.
Without cutter comp the simulation is good.
I have nothing in the fields project template or setup template.

Can i make any settings that vericut work right with cutter comp ?

I have VERICUT 6.2 and Mastercam X3 and X4.

Thanks
chester

Re: Mastercam and cutter comp

VERICUT does not support the cutter compensation in the NCI file format. If you simulate the G-Code for this job, then the cutter compensation will be simulated.

Re: Mastercam and cutter comp

What a shame.
But i have another problem.

We use in our g-code program only G41/G42 and no d word.
The values are coming from the Mazatrol tooldata.
When i simulate that in vericut, i have no cutter comp.
If i turn on the d word in my postprocessor all looks fine, but i don't want that, because it gives trouble on the machine.

How can i change that in Vericut control ?

Re: Mastercam and cutter comp

Find it myself.
CutterCompToolNum makes it.
