Hi all,
Using Vericut 6.2
How to change MotionRapid macro from dog-leg or hockey-stick motion to linear interpolated motion ( similar to what G1 does)?
While editing control, changing WORD_VALUE "G" "0" from MACRO "MotionRapid" to MACRO "MotionLinear" indeed affects how Vericut displays the rapid tool motion.
But if I could modify MotionRapid macro I would not have to mess with control word settings.
Changing 'DEFAUL MOTION TYPE' in 'Control Settings...Motion...' from 'RAPID' to 'LINEAR' does not seem to work...
TIA.

This is not a control setting, but a machine attribute.
Configuration > Machine Settings...
Axis Priority tab
You can decide to have the axes interpolated by checking the box. You can also set the priority of the axes, for example:
rapid retraction away from the part moves Z first and then X and Y together. Moving toward the part (lower Z) would cause X and Y to move first and then move in Z.
to do this, select Pos/Neg,
for positive (moving to a higher Z), Z is on priority 1, X and Y are on priority 2
for Negative (moving toward the part), X and Y are on priority 1, and Z is on priority 2

Thanks Serge.
It worked.
