Vericut justification

Hi everyone, we are in the process of justifying the software, money is tough to get these days. Is someone willing to share their payback plan or justification plan that I could use as a template. We dont want to miss out on this opportunity, we use different software to produce Gcode (MasterCam, Pro/Nc, SmartCam, etc.) and want to start using Vericut as a Gcode proofing tool. Thanks in advance.

Re: Vericut justification

Hi

We have Vericut and don't run anything on our Makinos without putting it through Vericut first.

My mate is a production Manager at a large Die casting shop. They have 18 Makinos A55, NO Vericut. They had a crash on a new job they where taesting.$60,000 later for a spindle. That he said wasn't the killer the machine down for a week was. He said he would rather employe someone full time just to check this never happens again.
So for the price invested in Vericut he could have saved thousands of $

Re: Vericut justification

Hi,

I have uploaded two cost justification sheets that may help you.

ftp://ftp.cgtech.com/pub/VERICUT_Cost_Justification.zip

After unzipping the file, you will find two documents in Microsoft Word format. Please do not hesitate to contact me, directly or through the forum, with any questions or comments.

Thanks,
Bryan
