Allocation of Autodiff

At present there is no ability within Vericut to release Autodiff to another user. This is extremely restrictive in everyday use, would it not be possible to be able to switch license features on and off at will

Each Vericut module has a License Token Lifetime of 5 minutes.  This means that each Vericut session must re-request the token for each module in use before the Token Lifetime expires (this is the Heartbeat).

If user A has been using Autodiff and wishes to relenquish the Token to user B without ending his (user A's) Vericut session then do the following:

Unplug user A's network cable for at least five minutes.  The missed heartbeat on all of user A's in-use Vericut modules will cause the Tokens to be released for re-use.  User B then starts Autodiff grabbing the Autodiff Token.  User A can then plug in his network cable and continue on with his Vericut session re-acquiring any needed Vericut module Tokens that are available.

This is a very sloppy procedure but it does work if user A's computer is NOT the license server.

I agree that a more elegant solution would be welcomed.

Re: Allocation of Autodiff

Why can't our friends at CGTECH allow the time limit for these bolt licenses be configured to suit the companies individual requirements.  We have the same problem with the probing license.
