Hardware Suggestions for Model Export

Hi folks,

Could anyone please share some information about hardware configuration you're working with? Mainly users working with Model Export. So far I don't have any reference point to start choosing what hardware should work best with Model Export using big model files. We're about to buy an Windows XP 64 Professional based computer but we couldn't find any tip or help on what kind of configuration we should start with.

Please, this information is very important and will help us a lot!

I have dell 690 with dual quad core processors (8)
16 gig of ram
