Mirror .vct? Can you/How

Is there a method in creating a “mirror” of a .vct file?

STS,
Maybe this will help. If you're using V6, you can add another setup and modify the stock component (rotate, translate, etc) to facilitate the desired result.
We had an instance where a shaft was turned around for another setup. Instead of outputting a .vct and manipulating that, I just added another setup and mirrored the stock component not the model. Then when you run the file, VC will automatically hand down the in-process stock model and place it in the new location.
We definitely take advantage of that feature. You just need one stock model then, and it will pass from setup to setup flawlessly without all the additional stock models.

Smythe,

Your method will work, but there is another easy method to achieve the transition and orientation between setups.

1) set VERICUT to stop at the end of each setup (Motion, Stop at...)
2) Play first setup
3) Step one block to be in the second setup
4) in the Project Tree, select the Cut Stock under the Stock component
5) orient it as needed (rotate, translate, etc..)
6) select Model Tab, select "Preserve stock transition"

This will automatically create a coordinate system in the first setup and one in the current one. When playing, the Cut Stock will transit from one CSYS to the other.
