I have a project that has a custom fixture... I created the fixture through vericut and exported the cutstock of it in the .vct version. In the project file for the part, I input that .vct file for the fixture and put the stock on top of it. The stock is a cylinder and while the part is being cut out, an endmill ends up cutting through the stock to create a donut. The problem is that on the command to cut through the stock (Z -1.66 ; the stock is 1.66 tall (on the Z)), the program freezes and uses 1.423 GB of ram when it usually runs at 532 MB ish of ram. When I delete the fixture, the program cuts through the stock perfectly leaving the interior circle. Anybody else having this problem?
While i'm here, might as well ask another newbie question. I want to either export the cut stock or preserve cut stock for another set up... how do i export the cut stock without the inside circle that was cut out because we cut a donut?

cut your fixture again and try , File > Save Cut Stock > STL. You might have more luck.
To remove portions of the cut stock floating in the air:
Project > Setup Models > Delete Detached Stock
Select the piece to remove, then press Delete
Cancel will restore it back but if you press OK it is final, you will need to cut it againg to get it back.
