Tool manager with tabs

Give the Tool Manager the ability to add tabs so tools can be separated by type.  That way I could create a tab for drills, a tab for roughing end mills, a tab for aluminum end mills, a tab for ball end mills, well you get the picture.  As of now, my tool list is huge and I have to do a lot of scrolling to get to the tool I need. Using the search function just takes to much time in my opinion.  Would something like this be possible for a future release? Having a tabbed Tool Manager would really make my day!

Re: Tool manager with tabs

I totally agree!
I'm new to Vericut and it sure seems like you have to jump through a lot of hoops(opening windows, scrolling, etc) to get the tool and holder you want.
I'm in favor of anything to reduce this process.

Re: Tool manager with tabs

Good idea but I happen to like the search function. What I would like to see is the ability to sort the search results via description. The same tool might be several different tool numbers in several different programs. If the descriptions were a match, not only would it remove the redundant entry, but you could sort by the description.
