UG/Vericut Interface - G-code mode not allowed

Good morning. When I'm using the UG/Vericut interface, and the Run Vericut dialog box comes up, down toward the bottom there is a Process Options button. I click on that and the Process Options dialog box comes up. I try to change the Tool Path Type to G-code, and I get an error message that says "G-code mode not allowed. No machine defined." Does anyone know where these machines are defined? The help file states that this list is the same as the Available Machines list in the UG Post Process window.

Thanks.

Re: UG/Vericut Interface - G-code mode not allowed

NightHawk, try selecting a Project and Setup template that are configured to simulate G-codes in VERICUT. These will contain the missing "machine" that VERICUT is looking for. You will find some in the Library and Samples sections, but you may need to tweak or build your own to simulate your exact machine. If you just want to test a 3-axis mill program, try using => C:\cgtech61\library\3_axis_mill_template_inch.vcproject
