Using Multiple Setups

Hi everybody:

I have 2 setups as of now in a project file and now I am working with the 2nd setup. whenever I try to reset the cutstock it'll take me to the begining of the 1st setup and I have to run all the files again. I don't want to do that so I made an ip file at the begining of the 2nd setup and everytime I fix something and want to play back I reopen the ip file again and again. its taking a long time to load the ip file. Is there any work around

In other words if there are mutiple setups and I need to reset the cut stock is there a way to create a hard stop at the begining of the 2nd setup  (or whatever setup) so that It will not reset the stock all the way back to the initial setup. Hope I made it clear ..

Thank you all for your time and response....

Regards

zac.

Re: Using Multiple Setups

After you have finished the first setup, save the cut stock and use that as the stock for the second setup.
Be sure to save the cut stock without the features to reduce file size.

Re: Using Multiple Setups

Hi stpendl:

I  do have multiple setup in one project file and I used Vericut's automatic cut stock transition to the next setup ... yikes Now the problem is, it won't let me bring another .vct as a stock file as it already contain a stock file. Looks like I might have to go back to the old way of making one project file for each setup. ...  sad   ............
