:? 4 Programmers all with same work stations configuration. My setup works fine. Other is crashing or hanging with 6.0.3 or 6.1.1, have exhausted all tips, tricks, fixes and even a few creative changes- we are wiping out work station and reloading everything to see if VCut will run. Other station we are trying to move to 6.1.1 and if he opens Project I created and double click .ip there is a "java" related error and crash, again we have tried all options we could find, but no solution yet.
Any suggestions would be great we want to all be working from the same versions to avoid confusion.

I take a wag at it. (wild ass guess)
Is it possible that a file exists on your local hard drive, that did not copy over?
try info file summery, and see if there is a .mch, .log, or other that is missing.

Do you use Windows x64 Edition ???
I had similar problems and resolved them by installing the latest vc_redist.exe for x86 and x64 on the x64 machines.

Serge,
I had a problem, where launching the AUTO-DIFF report crashed VC to the desktop for a 64-bit Windows installation.
The 32-bit installation worked.
I had these crashes for any 6.x version until 6.1.1 came out.
I think these got fixed by the Visual C++ Redistributeable SP1 shipped with 6.1.1
BTW, I have always installed the vc_redist.exe coming with VERICUT, x86 and x64.

The fixes mentioned ftp://ftp.cgtech.com/Download/pointrel/ ... CUT611.exe worked perfectly on the upgrade to 6.1.1 crashing. Thanks for all the help.
