We have been using Vericut for years. We use the Motion Control, Stop AT Text function often. About half the time, we want to get to the line and NOT have it execute. We want to see it execute after Zooming, changing display speed etc. To do this currently we do all sorts of work arounds. Usually getting to the line, seeing the line number etc, reseting and getting back there. When the line is a macro call, many commands could be executing that we want to see in detail.
We need STOP AT with an option for BEFORE TEXT. Stop at the line just before the text entered. Also from the other Stop At options, a BEFORE Tool Change would be good. This could also be Stop At End of Tool. One of the questions we often have is "what tool just ran?" when we find a problem and Stop At ToolChange is selected.

..."what tool just ran?"
In Vericut 6.1.1 ... When stopped at a Tool Change just click on the NC Program Review icon at the top left of the NC Program window. The status line in the NC Program Review window shows the current tool information. Back up one block to see information on the previous tool.
