Put a G21 in the g-code
( may be different depending on your contro g71 or something)
the macro G21 calles is unitsmetric
There is inch / metric units for stls, models, and vericut itself. ( see file properties, default Units.)
i think the big difference is if the info / status is in inch or metric.
I was in the same situation.
I had an inch machine and a metric program requirement.
you can also set vericut to MM load an inch model and Vericut will convert it for you
I put in g21 and was good to go
Hope this helps

If you create a new metric project, simply open the machine from the Library folder. It is not important what units the machine was saved in. The units are maintained, the machine will always be the same size regardless of the units of the session.
Create a new Metric session
open the machine from the Library:
C:\cgtech611\library\mazak_variaxis730.mch
Open the control
C:\cgtech61\library\maz640m_variaxis.ctl
If your control is by default in metric and does not require a G21, modify the control:
Configuration > Control Settings; Motion tab
Default Control Units = Metric
don't forget to save your new control and to save your new project template.
