Siemens 840C

Hi,

After working quite much with Siemens 840D I have now gone into 840C...

The @-commands as for instance @121, @122 an so on, gives me problem.

The NC-block @122 R409 K1 K0 returns the following error:

Error: Invalid number of arguments passed to SiemensCfdIfNotEqual(), expecting 3

According to my Siemens manual the syntax is correct, the R409 is preset in the main tool path, and it also works on the real machine.

I have changed nothing in the control file, except for adding the "L" as CallSubName, since this is a toolchnage sub routine called via L806.

In the beginning of the ctl-file is says "version 5.3", but shouldn't matter??

Any ideas?

Svante

Re: Siemens 840C

I have both Siemens 840D's & C's
Are you using 6.0.? They changed the variable statement from "R" to "#" from 5.4 Try that. I can send a 840C control file if necessary.
