“Getting Started” disk

With the distribution of VERICUT 6.0, a “Getting Started” disk was included in the package.

The two short tutorials on the disk were intended to familiarize experienced VERICUT users with 6.0's multiple setup features.  The first tutorial showed you how to create a new project with multiple setups. The second showed you how to import multiple existing VERICUT 5.x files into VERICUT 6.0.

Was this extra disk helpful? Do you have any suggestions for improving on this in the future?

Re: “Getting Started” disk

Bryan, What was there was not bad, but to a new comer to your software it left a little short.
I have used numerous solid model verify packages, but know little about yours. I understand how to specify stock and so forth, but creating tools, where not covered and left me hanging. Is there any downloads of books or training material that can given to user's?My schedule is very tight and does not look Like I will be able to attend your training(which everybody says is real good)
Thanks

Re: “Getting Started” disk

Thanks for the feedback. As you noticed, the “Getting Started” disk was intended for those who already have experience working with VERICUT. Since it does not look like you’ll be able to make it to a training course, I would suggest checking out the Help section in VERICUT (Help>On VERICUT…). It’s very extensive and includes the same tutorials that are used in the training courses.
