Shared Machine Sim License

We have one Machine Sim license and 7 Vericut licenses.
Whenever I get thrown out of Vericut or it hangs or I just leave, when I go back in, another user usually has the Machine Sim license even if they don't us Machine Sim.
Is there a way to avoid this problem?

Re: Shared Machine Sim License

Not sure but I think the 1st one in, when MS is available gets it. Don't know about V6.

another user usually has the Machine Sim license even if they don't use Machine Sim.

Ask kindly for co-workers to check & turn it off, when starting Vericut.

The best way is MS off and you have to turn it on.  I will look into it and raise the issue for you, in 6.1 beta.

Does anyone know for sure??

Re: Shared Machine Sim License

People here seem to think that even if Machine Sim is turned off, Vericut will grab the Machine Sim license.  I'll have to do some testing to verify this.
That will have to wait until some of the Vericut users go home because I've already had to ask 5 people to get out of Vericut so I could get the Machine Sim license back today.
It would also be great if a person could give up the license without exiting Vericut completely.

Re: Shared Machine Sim License

I tried turning machine simulation off and saving the project file but Vericut still grabbed the Machine Sim license.
