Setting For Using More Than 2 GB RAM With WinXp 64 bit

The Tips & Tricks forum shows how to set up WinXP when using more than 3 GB RAM
Is this the correct procedure for setting up Vericut 6.0.1 on WinXP Pro 64 bit when using more than 2 GB RAM?
I'm using 4 GB RAM
