Vericut 6....

seems ok to me so far.  What do you guys think?
I've talked to some people who are hesitant to make the jump.
Seemed like a smooth transition.  Took a little while to find what I needed.
I've only been using it for about a week, but pretty much a solid week on Vericut.
I hope my luck holds out. 8)

To help with the transition, look in the Help for the training session.

Another tip: you can do all your settings in the Project Tree with right-click menus on the different branches.

Re: Vericut 6....

All in good fun
The CGTech guys did most all of the work
But that’s their job

We Volunteered.
A nice little army of testers.
By doing so, we get things fixed that are important to us, while the patient is on the operating room table.

You should volunteer be a beta tester for the next release.

Contractors rarely are invited to participate by their employers.

Re: Vericut 6....

I guess I must be doing something wrong.
I've been trying to copy over my 5.4 files to 6.01 then 6.02 for the last 3 weeks and get them running. I've never seen software lock up or crash so much or be so sluggish when it does run. The 1st week I couldn't get a part to run all the way through the simulation once. :?
These files ran great in 5.4.

Re: Vericut 6....

Hi blampman,

Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble.  I have seen plenty of crashes myself and I suspect some of them are due to memory issues.
But, you should call tech support and see if they have any suggestions.  I've called them twice and they were very helpful and got to the bottom of my problem right away.
They sent me straight to the help files that dealt with my issue.
You might want to check the help tutorials as Serge recommends above.  And if you can post some specific areas of trouble on the forum, maybe someone can help you out.

Re: Vericut 6....

Thanks for the redirect Serge, that helped with lock-ups and crashes. I am still having a few other issues but have an email into tech support for them.
