Re: GAGE OFFSET

Hello Manu,

the Gage Offset is the distance between the tip of the tool (driven point) and the gage point (reference point where tool loads in the spindle).

The Gage offset comes from the tool definition in the tool library.

This is the general definition. What is the problem you encounter?

Serge

Re: GAGE OFFSET

HELLO THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWER
I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN, BUT IN A TURNING MACHINE THERE ARE 12 POSITIONS IN THE TURRET. FOR THE FIRST POSITION IT'S ENOUGHT TO APPLY THAT YOU SAID, BUT IN THE OTHERS DOES NOT WORK; OR I CAN'T CALCULATE IN THE RIGHT WAY.
ANYWHERE THE NC USED BY ME IS " FAN 12 CTL "
THANK YOU AGAIN
